Empowering Veterans and Their Families

At Behind the Lavalava Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering veterans and their families by creating opportunities for growth and providing financial support in education, sports, business, and culture. Our mission is to honor the sacrifices and service of our veterans by offering pathways to success, personal fulfillment, and community engagement. Additionally, we serve the youth through targeted programs where needed, ensuring their growth and success.

An annual event honoring veterans with a free meal, Pacific Island style. This dinner brings together veterans, their families, and the community to celebrate their service and contributions, reinforcing community connections and unity.

A platform for veteran entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products. By fostering business growth and community engagement, the Veteran-Owned Business Holiday Market empowers veterans in their business ventures.

Volunteer Team

An annual event dedicated to youth and family support. Connect with nonprofits, organizations, and leaders offering resources for mental health, disabilities, housing, food, domestic violence, etc. Explore services, build connections, and leave empowered with tools for a stronger future.
