Behind the Lavalava Foundation was born from a deep respect for the sacrifices and dedication of our veterans and their families. Inspired by a commitment to honor their service.
We set out to create a space where they can find the resources, opportunities, and support needed to thrive. Our name reflects our roots in community, resilience, and the strength that comes from standing together.
Our mission is to honor and serve veterans and their families by empowering them through opportunities and assistance in education, business, and sports. We are committed to providing support through scholarships, grants, and annual events like the Pacific Island Veterans Day Dinner and the Veteran-owned Business Holiday Market, fostering a community of growth, recognition, and empowerment. Additionally, we serve the youth through targeted programs where needed, ensuring their growth and success.
